Singapore – This month, MAX presents a special war-themed collection of titles on Tuesdays and Sundays at 9pm (SIN), featuring HBO mini-series Band Of Brothers and Generation Kill, along with an anthology of classic World War II movies including Battle Of The Bulge, The Guns Of Navarone, Tobruk and In Enemy Country on Tuesdays at 9pm (SIN). HBO Asia also announced that the highly anticipated HBO Original mini-series, The Pacific, executive produced by Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg and Gary Goetzman, the team behind the Emmy winning Band Of Brothers, will make its Asian premiere on HBO in early 2010. The Pacific tracks the intertwined odysseys of three US Marines across the vast canvas of the Pacific.
