Seoul/Singapore – AETN All Asia Networks Pte Ltd. (AAA Networks) and Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), announced a deal to co-produce 5 x 1 hour high-definition documentaries for HISTORY, The Biography Channel and Crime & Investigation Network. The documentaries will be of Asian subject matter, produced by Korean production companies, and executive produced by Off The Fence. Korean production companies are invited to submit program proposals to KOCCA by September 23. Productions should be greenlit this year, with production and broadcast in 2010 and 2011 on AETN All Asia Networks channels in South East Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan & Macau. Louis Boswell, general manager, AETN All Asia Networks said, “We are very pleased to be working in partnership with KOCCA to commission Asian content for our channels, History, Crime and Investigation Network, and The Biography Channel. It underscores the emphasis we place on localising the channels and it offers the opportunity to the selected production houses to have their content airing on some of the leading factual entertainment TV channels in the region.”
