MIPCOM, Cannes -Comcast International Media Group (CIMG) unveiled several significant licensing deals for the territories of Australia, New Zealand, Korea and the Philippines. Seven Network in Australia has licensed a number of E! Entertainment Television Specials, as well as season two of the international series Sexiest. National Geographic Channel in Australia and New Zealand has picked up the hit series Human Wrecking Balls from G4, television’s destination that features the latest must-have tech gadgets, web culture and video games. The Style Network’s recently launched reality series Running in Heels has been acquired by Joongang Media Q in Korea for its newly rebranded QTV channel. In the Philippines, Velvet channel has picked up the latest batch of E! Specials and E! True Hollywood Story and the latest seasons of The Soup, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Denise Richards: It’s Complicated, plus additional reality series including Running in Heels. Lifestyle Network has acquired top programming from The Style Network including Ruby, Peter Perfect, Clean House, How Do I Look? and Split Ends. Velvet and Lifestyle Network are owned by Creative Programs, Inc. (CPI) which is a subsidiary of ABS-CBN.
