Nonthaburi, Thailand – THAICOM Public Company Limited announced that it will be issuing 3-year and 5-year senior debentures in the total amount not exceeding Baht 7 billion. The debentures will be offered to individuals and institutional investors with a minimum subscription amount of Baht 100,000. The subscription period is from 2-5 November 2009. TRIS Rating Co., Ltd. rates Thaicom and its debentures as ‘BBB+’ with ‘stable’ prevailing trend. Interested parties can subscribe the Thaicom debentures through five major banks including Bangkok Bank, KASIKORNBANK, Krung Thai Bank, TMB Bank, and The Standard Chartered Bank (Thai), who act as the underwriters. The company offers two periods of debentures, 3-year and 5-year coupons, to the general public with a minimum subscription amount of Baht 100,000. The subscription period is from November 2-5. The 3-year coupon will have an interest rate of 5.25% per annum. The 5-year coupon will have an interest rate of 6.15% per annum. THAICOM will pay the interest every three months.
