Hong Kong – The Cable & Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (CASBAA) has announced the results of its 2009 Annual General Meeting elections to the CASBAA Chairmanship, the CASBAA Board of Directors and the CASBAA Council of Governors for 2010/2011. Marcel Fenez, Global Leader, Entertainment & Media Practice, PricewaterhouseCoopers was re-elected for a two-year term as Chairman of the Association. Robert Gilby, SVP & MD of Disney-ABC International Television (Asia Pacific) has newly joined the CASBAA Board of Directors, while the following members retain their Board seats: Marcel Fenez, PwC; Peter Jackson, CEO, AsiaSat; Jonathan Spink, CEO, HBO Asia; James Ross, Regional Director, ITV Global Entertainment; Todd Miller, EVP, Networks, Asia Pacific, Sony Pictures Television; William Pfeiffer, CEO, Tiger Gate Entertainment; Sompan Charumilinda, Exec. Vice Chairman, TrueVisions; Ian Carroll, EVP & GM, Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific. Tom Keaveny, EVP & MD, Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific, steps down from the CASBAA Board for 2010.
