Los Angeles – As part of its multiplatform global expansion strategy, Metan Development Group (Metan) will launch its premier content on 10 of China’s top online portals beginning January 2010, adding 360 million Chinese netizens to its program reach. The announcement was made by Metan’s president/CEO Larry Namer. “Since our soft launch in October, an estimated millions of online viewers have watched Metan’s Hello! This online expansion coupled with our many television partnerships will ensure that our programming is available throughout the entire country.” Each week, Metan will debut short-form unique segments from the series Hello! Hollywood to enhance and promote its broadcast TV efforts on online portals MSN, Sina and Sohu; video-sharing portals Tudou, Youku, Ku6, 6.cn, VODONE and 56.com; as well as P2P client-based video streaming site UUSee.
