Toronto – Breakthrough Entertainment has secured broadcast deals throughout Asia, Australia and New Zealand for 125 hours of documentary and factual programs, it was announced by Nat Abraham, head of distribution. Greatest Tank Battles, a new CGI series that brings to life the most gripping and monumental tank battles ever fought, has been sold to Foxtel in Australia and New Zealand. The Future Revealed has been acquired by LIC in China and Foxtel in Australia and New Zealand. The 10-part, half hour series takes a look at the future of humanity through the 21st Century. Science of the Senses has been sold to True Visions in Thailand. The 4-part series uncovers the mysteries our five senses and the human brain in explaining exactly why we ‘experience’ the sights, smells, touch and sounds of our existence. Plastic Makes Perfect, a humorous, fast-paced pop doc that explores society’s obsession with plastic surgery, has also been sold to True Visions in Thailand. Little Miracles has been licensed to The Documentary Channel in New Zealand. This emotionally gripping series chronicles the ‘little miracles’ performed everyday on ordinary kids at the world-renowned Hospital for Sick Children in Canada. Situation Critical, a highly charged, fast-paced factual series that depicts trauma cases and split-second decisions in the emergency room, has also been sold to The Documentary Channel in New Zealand.
