Y+X Entertainment Expands LumiCreator Network with More Than 50 Bestselling and Award-Winning Authors

August 12, 2026 by TVA Editor

Vivian Yin, Founder & CEO of Y+X Entertainment Group has announced that more than 50 authors and screenwriters, several New York Times bestsellers, have joined the growing LumiCreator network supporting LumiView, the company’s upcoming premium vertical IP platform. Rather than treating creators simply as sources of content, LumiCreator is built around a creator-aligned model intended to preserve the distinctive identity of each story while helping selected works grow beyond the page into premium cinematic series and larger, expandable story worlds.
The expanding creator roster includes New York Times bestselling authors, award-winning novelists, multi-million-copy-selling commercial writers, established franchise storytellers, and emerging global voices working across science fiction, fantasy, thriller, romance, mystery, and speculative fiction. LumiCreator is Y+X Entertainment’s global creator ecosystem, designed to connect authors, screenwriters, filmmakers, artists, and other storytellers with opportunities for IP development, cinematic adaptation, creative collaboration, and long-term participation in the worlds their stories create.

Featured creators and works*
– Tosca Lee New York Time bestselling author. Her novel Demon is now being adapted into a premium cinematic vertical series for LumiView, with production taking place in South Korea under the creative leadership of an acclaimed Korean filmmaker.
– Kathy Tyers — New York Times bestselling science-fiction author. Her signature work, Firebird, is being developed as a premium cinematic vertical series for LumiView.

– Christy Barritt — award-winning commercial thriller author. Her novel Hidden Currents is being developed for LumiView in collaboration with independent production partner Fear Not Productions.

– Lorie Langdon — bestselling fantasy-romance author of the acclaimed Doon series, inspired by the beloved musical Brigadoon is being developed as a premium cinematic vertical series for LumiView.

– Candace Kade — Cross-Cultural Speculative Storytelling author of Enhanced which is being adapted as a premium cinematic vertical series for LumiView.

– Sara Ella — Award-Winning Fantasy Author of The Wonderland Trials which is being developed as a premium cinematic vertical series for LumiView.
Vivian Yin said, “The initial LumiCreator network reflects both the creative range and global ambition of LumiView. We are thrilled to welcome some of the world’s most accomplished authors into the LumiCreator network and to develop their stories for LumiView. Together, we are building a slate of premium, creator-driven stories that we believe can help redefine the vertical storytelling landscape.”
Yin added, “We see vertical video as the next structural evolution in how audiences discover and engage with narrative entertainment. We believe the future belongs to companies building lasting infrastructure—not just scaling content volume, but creating enduring value through original IP, creator ecosystems, and franchise development.”
LumiView has already completed an initial slate of pilot productions across multiple formats, validating both its production engine and global creative workflow. Building on that foundation, the company is now advancing its launch slate, with releases beginning as part of the platform’s beta rollout this fall.
Designed as an IP-first vertical storytelling ecosystem, LumiView aims to position short-form vertical drama—also known as microdrama—not simply as a performance marketing vehicle, but as a new narrative layer within franchise development.
Vertical drama is experiencing rapid growth, driven largely by aggressive user acquisition models and short-cycle monetization strategies. While the format has proven its commercial viability, it has also revealed structural limitations—including over-reliance on paid acquisition, weak IP retention, and limited franchise scalability.
As established studios begin entering the format, vertical storytelling is increasingly entering a second phase—one defined not by speed alone, but by infrastructure, IP durability, and creator alignment. LumiView positions itself within this emerging second wave.
Within this evolving landscape, LumiView is structured as a premium vertical IP platform built around an IP-first development strategy, creator-aligned infrastructure, and a franchise-oriented expansion model.  The platform is designed to incubate intellectual property with long-tail potential across film, publishing, gaming, merchandising, and live experiences. Rather than prioritizing volume alone, LumiView emphasizes story architecture, franchise viability, and cross-platform scalability.
