Directed by Academy Award-winning Italian auteur Giuseppe Tornatore (Cinema Paradiso, Ennio) and scored by Academy Award-winning composer Nicola Piovani (Life is Beautiful), Brunello: The Gracious Visionary is an inside look at the extraordinary life and career of Brunello Cucinelli, founder and executive chairman of the renowned Italian luxury fashion house. The cinematic documentary intertwines intimate conversations, exclusive access and archival footage to trace his journey from a rural agricultural community in Umbria to building a global fashion empire founded on the principles of craftsmanship, humanity and ethical entrepreneurship.
Produced by Brunello Cucinelli S.p.A. and MasiFilm in collaboration with Rai Cinema, the film premiered in Italy with a star-studded launch and went on to achieve strong box office results in its home territory. The latest international sales follow previously announced distribution partnerships with Picturehouse Entertainment for the UK and Ireland and Blue Fox Entertainment for North America, with audiences across multiple territories set to discover the story of one of Italy’s most influential creative visionaries in the coming months.
Edoardo Bussi, Founder and CEO at Twenty-Nine Palms Entertainment, said, “We are incredibly proud to see Brunello: The Gracious Visionary embraced by distributors around the world – and to have secured a truly worldwide release for this beautiful project. It is a testament to both Giuseppe Tornatore’s extraordinary filmmaking and the universal appeal of Brunello Cucinelli’s story – and we look forward to audiences from Seoul to Barcelona engaging with this remarkable film.”
