
Emirates Airlines has confirmed the acquisition of Winsing Animation’s original animated feature Into the Mortal World, a stunning Chinese film selected for the Feature Film Competition at the 2025 Annecy International Animation Film Festival. The title will launch on Emirates’ global in-flight entertainment system (ICE) in this December, available across all routes and aircraft.
Produced by Winsing Animation over five years, Into the Mortal World has drawn international attention for its rich artistic craftsmanship and cinematic world-building. The film follows two siblings, each with distinct personalities and powers, who embark on an epic quest to save the mortal world and reconnect with their family. As part of Winsing Animation’s Eastern Legends series, the film weaves Chinese mythological themes with a universally compelling narrative about family, love, inner strength and humanity.
Since its release, Into the Mortal World has been invited to major festivals worldwide. At the 2025 Annecy International Animation Film Festival this June, the film held eight fully booked official screenings, attracting nearly 3,000 attendees and earning strong acclaim from industry professionals and animation audiences. It will also be featured at upcoming festivals, including the 2026 Wellington Animation Festival in New Zealand and the Kaboom Animation Festival in the Netherlands.
Fueled by its universal appeal and acclaim at worldwide film festivals, Into the Mortal World continues to broaden its global reach. From the second half of 2025, the film is slated for release in additional territories, including Vietnam, Mongolia, Malaysia, and Latin America. Winsing Animation is actively expanding into other regions, with more territories to be announced in due course.
In December, Winsing Animation will showcase Into the Mortal World, alongside the latest titles from its flagship GG Bond franchise, I Am Bond GG Bond and Race Through Time, at the Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) in Singapore. Building on its strong and diverse animation brands, Winsing continues its proactive efforts to expand its global presence and pursue international partnerships.
