
TBS Holdings, Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & Chief Executive Officer: Ryujiro Abe) has announced a strategic alliance with Viet Nam Television (VTV), Viet nam’s national broadcaster. The alliance was formally announced on Sunday, September 7, at a ceremony in Hanoi commemorating the 55th anniversary of the First Television Broadcast of Viet Nam Television.
This alliance will further develop the cooperative relationship between the two companies, starting with the revival of “Không GiớiHạn – Sasuke Việt Nam” the Vietnamese adaptation of TBS’s renowned show “SASUKE,” coming back for the first time in 7 years and the support of the distribution of Vietnam Todayʼs content on platforms in Japan. Moving forward, the two companies plan to deepen their collaboration in a wide range of areas, including the broadcasting and distribution of each other’s content in both countries, remaking TBS dramas, and co-developing new content.
Additionally, to foster talent exchange within the content industry, they also seek to launch joint initiatives through seminars and workshops. Through this alliance, TBS and VTV will further energize cultural and entertainment exchange between Japan and Viet Nam, while pioneering new content for the Asian region and the global market.
