In a year set to see record-breaking IP-video adoption, with over 70 elections and global sports events, LiveU heads to Broadcast Asia 2024 with a focus on its latest EcoSystem solutions for news, sports, public safety and other verticals.
The LiveU EcoSystem, encompassing hardware, software, service, and support, is used by content creators worldwide to produce and deliver the most dynamic, engaging live content. Its open architecture provides customers with the flexibility and adaptability to create efficient production workflows, seamlessly integrating LiveU’s live feeds with other best-of-breed technologies. At the core of the EcoSystem lies the LiveU Reliable Transport (LRT™) protocol providing rock-solid resiliency.
LiveU’s industry-leading 5G IP bonding solutions will be on display, including its multi-cam LU800 and compact LU300S portable encoders – used with remote production (REMI) workflows for main content feeds, as well as back-up and disaster recovery.
Innovative EcoSystem workflows around election and sports coverage will be demonstrated at the top of every hour featuring the company’s encoders and latest IP cloud solutions. LiveU Studio, cloud-native IP video production service, is a fully scalable, on-demand solution, designed for digital distribution, allowing shows to be quickly produced with monetizable live content. It ensures maximum content value with simultaneous publishing across up to 30 destinations.
LiveU Ingest streamlines ingest via automatic recording and story metadata tagging. This allows customers to process video faster while significantly cutting production costs once again helping maximize monetization. Then there’s LiveU Matrix, cloud IP-video distribution platform. It lets users share and receive high-quality, low-latency live feeds to, and from, broadcasters and other stakeholders around the globe, driving content revenue extremely cost-effectively.
“Producing more engaging content for less effort, time and cost is what we’re all about, maximizing the production value for our customers.”, explained Yaal Eshel, General Manager – LiveU Asia. “We’re excited to be back at Broadcast Asia, meeting our customers and partners and discussing our latest solutions for cost-effective productions, increasing engagement and ROI. Our demonstrations will showcase both primary and digital workflows as part of a seamless live production, incorporating the latest remote production techniques and integrations with other leading technologies.”
