Ace Entertainment Films the global production and distribution company with offices in Los Angeles, Paris and London, is bringing the next two films in the popular Miranda Green Mystery franchise to the 2024 Cannes Festival. The announcement was made by Jerome Reygner-Kalfon and Sebastien Semon, Co-Founders and Managing Partners, ACE Entertainment Films.
Starring Mischa Barton (Amazon Freevee’s Neighbours reboot, the OC) in the titular role of the florist turned private detective, the stylish films, set in 1930’s England, embrace the spirit of the ‘Queen of Crime,’ Agatha Christie. New titles being announced at Cannes include Murder at the Embassy and The Mystery of the Golden Spear. Production on Murder at the Embassy is slated to begin in June in the US, UK and on location in Cairo, Egypt.
Delivery is scheduled for first quarter, 2025. The Mystery of the Golden Spear, set in the South African savannah, begins shooting in January, 2025, with delivery slated for Summer, 2025.
Invitation to a Murder, the debut Miranda Green Mystery, was released in 2023, in over 100 countries worldwide and has streamed on top platforms including AppleTV+ in the US. The two new titles are both in final negotiations with a major studio for North American distribution rights.
