tvN Movies celebrates 7 years of excellence. They continue to expand their reach by making their content available through various platforms. tvN Movies Pinoy is a linear TV channel that launched in the Philippines via Cignal last 1 November. This is the first attempt by tvN Movies to launch a fully dubbed channel for local audiences. Earlier in September, we also launched our SVOD services in Hong Kong via PCCW’s Now Services.

Since tvN Movies launch in 2017, the channel has consistently delivered blockbuster content, bringing the best of Korean cinema to viewers. In 2023 (year to date) tvN Movies successfully acquired 14 out of the Top 20 grossing movies in Korea, including the No. 1 film “The Roundup: No Way Out” starring Don Lee and Lee Joon-hyuk which collected a stunning USD $77 million gross box office.

Viewers can also anticipate to watch other top Korean movies on the channel including: adrenaline pumping action “The Childe” starring Kim Seon-ho and “The Moon” starring D.O (from EXO); Korea’s disaster blockbuster “Concrete Utopia” starring an ensemble of A-list actors namely Lee Byung-hun, Park Seo-jun, Park Bo-young which was selected to be part of Toronto International Film Festival; “Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman” which opened as the No. 1 film during the Chuseok break starring Gang Dong-won; No. 1 film in Korea for 3 consecutive weeks – romantic comedy “Love Reset” starring Kang Ha-neul and Jung So-min which collected more than USD $11million since its release on 3 October.
