From today, audiences around the world are invited to step into the crime-ridden shoes of a man who has repeatedly hit rock bottom and is determined to reclaim his life, no matter the cost, in Big Bet – streaming exclusively on Disney+ from today.

Starring the legendary Choi Minsik (Old Boy, The Admiral: Roaring Currents, New World) in his first appearance in a drama series in over 25 years, Big Bet tells the unforgettable tale of Cha Moosik, who, after a hard time in life, builds himself up from nothing to become a casino mogul. As the story progresses, Cha once again finds himself at rock bottom when he is investigated as part of a murder case. Determined not to let life beat him down yet again, Cha will risk everything he has, including his own life, to get himself back in the game.

Big Bet also stars Son Sukku, (My Liberation Notes, Romance Without Love, and D.P.), Lee Donghwi, (Extreme Job, New Year Blues, Reply 1988) and Heo Sungtae (Squid Game, Adamas, Hunt) and is written and directed by Kang Yunsung, known for writing and directing The Outlaws, and winner of the Best New Director at the 54th Baeksang Arts Awards and the 23rd Chunsa Film Art Awards.
