TV3 launches its first ever reality competition programme Fit For Action which will have on-screen and physical challenges, in search of Malaysia’s next versatile actors and actresses.
Fit For Action will broadcast on 3 September 2022, every Saturday at 10.00 pm and can be streamed live on Tonton. Auditions were held in early February this year at Sri Pentas and received outstanding support from fellow contestants. 12 final contestants of 6 males and 6 females were hand-picked to undergo intense challenges that will test their physical expressions, emotions and diverse acting skills through on-screen and physical challenges.
According to Nini Yusof, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Media Prima Television Networks, “Fit For Action is meant for finding substitute actors of quality and a potential to bring out different characters and genres. There is currently a high demand for dramas and films, which in return becomes a challenge for directors and producers to select actors that are the perfect fit to embody characters in their dramas and films. With this reality programme Fit For Action, it will open opportunities for the entertainment industry to recruit versatile actors and indirectly increase the quality of Malaysian drama and film productions.”
The entertainment industry will be able to discover upcoming all-rounded actors through Fit For Action. As performers, they are not only required to memorize scripts and portray their own individualities, but actors would also need to have mental and physical strength as well as a strong sense of discipline. In line with the objective of the programme, Fit For Action strives to find versatile actors who are always ready.
