Rockerdale Studios, the disabled-led content production company, has appointed Alex Martin as its first Head of Development.
Alex has moved to Rockerdale with a remit to supercharge their development slate, as the company focuses on expanding its mission to bring quality, funny content to all major broadcasters and streamers.
Prior to joining Rockerdale, Alex was Head of Development at Mighty Productions, where he created Ex Rated for NBCU’s Peacock and developed the BBC1 quiz !mpossible.
Alex has also had senior development roles at Tuesday’s Child, Shine TV, CPL Productions and RDF. His development credits also include Tipping Point (ITV), Married at First Sight (C4), Thronecast (Sky One) and Sing If You Can (ITV).
Founded by CEO Stu Richards and COO Michelle Singer, Rockerdale Studios has made a name for itself with its unique brand of mischievous and provocative comedy content in scripted and unscripted. Recent productions include the Broadcast Digital Award-winning Mission: Accessible (All4), Bobby and Harriet Get Married (Viceland and Comedy Central), Brad Boyz (All4) and the upcoming Dine Hard with Rosie Jones (All4).
