Taipei-LA based Organic Media Group (OMG), and its production partner GPS / Silver Streak, completed principal photography this week in Los Angeles for its female-led, Kung-Fu action comedy, GIMME MY MONEY.
Rounding out an A-list action crew from Hollywood Stuntworks, the movie stars actress Marci Miller, Raymond J. Barry and legendary, 93 years young, Chinese-American actor – James Hong, who will be receiving his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, May 10th in LA.
GIMME MY MONEY is about a tough, mysterious woman who calls on the mob to collect… and this time – crime is gonna pay!
Coming off producing three back-to-back movies airing on ION and Lifetime/LMN, in 2021, OMG continues with Film Fund Partner GPS’s Executive Mick S. Grewal, SR. for this action comedy, along with an additional feature film and series, already greenlit for 2022.
Attending Cannes, sales agent Jay Joyce from Level 33 Entertainment, will be selling OMG’s TV titles mentioned above, while OMG principal, Steve Chicorel, will lead foreign and domestic sales for its feature GIMME MY MONEY. On-set producer Shari Hamrick Grewal will also oversee all post and deliverables to deliver by Q3 2022.
Grewal says, “ When Steve and I asked buyers what works best in their market, the answer was smart, fun, wall-to-wall action movies and that’s what we have, thanks to Hollywood Stuntworks producing with us and American Kung Fu Master, Bill Vigil, writing & directing.”
Grewal, is producing on location alongside Hollywood Stuntworks principal, Jane Austin. Jane’s company is best known for designing death-defying stunts for Avatar 2 & 3, Pirates of the Caribbean, Fast and Furious, among numerous other big action movies over Jane Austin’s accomplished stunt professional career and now as producer – after she fell in love with the comedy-actioner script. Jane Austin says, “I’m tremendously excited to be a part of this project not only as the Stunt Coordinator but also as a Producer. Combining comedy and action in this smart script Bill Vigil created is going to result in an action-packed crowd pleaser.”
