TechStorm, Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing and de facto largest 24/7 media entertainment network with esports, gaming, tech and entrepreneurship thematic content has the regional audience hooked on its stellar line-up. Sink or swim with Season 9 of Shark Tank, the 4-time Emmy® Award-winning entrepreneurial-themed reality show where aspiring entrepreneurs from around the world pitch their business models to a panel of investors and persuade them to invest money in their concept.

A slew of “guest Sharks” appear in Season 9, including Sir Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group. Other guest Sharks include Sara Blakely, Bethany Frankel, Rohan Oza, and Alex Rodriguez. Watch the drama heat up between guest Sharks and four of the regular sharks. As the regional home to this all-time favourite title, TechStorm is excited to bring Season 9 of this all-time favourite title to viewers across the region, available every Wednesday and Thursday at prime time 10:00 p.m. (SGT).

Esports entertainment lineup

New esports titles will also hit the screens in February. Esports Championships East Asia, an inter-East Asian competitive gaming tournament played entirely online with teams from the 3 countries competing in top-grossing games worldwide, such as League of Legends (LoL) and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), premieres on TechStorm’s dedicated weekday esports time-belt on 10 February, airing every Monday to Friday at 11:00 p.m. (SGT). In addition, Arena Esports, a current, first-of-its-kind esports-centric programme that covers everything in the massively-popular world of professional-level gaming – attracting audiences from mainstream gamers to dedicated fanatics – premieres on 11 February and is available on Fridays at prime time 10:00 p.m. (SGT).

Kicking those TGIF goals is TechStorm’s headline title of Q1 – Making the Squad: FIFA Edition, the world’s first esports reality competition in Berlin, which runs every Friday at 9:00 p.m. (SGT). Ten of the most engaging FIFA streamers will not only be tested on their FIFA 21 gaming skills but also in a series of exciting and dynamic FIFA21-inspired in-real-life (IRL) challenges.

“Talk about entertainment goals! As a conversation leader about the convergence of sports and esports fandom in Asia, TechStorm is excited to bring the riveting action series of Making The Squad: FIFA Edition to our regional audience. With the sports-gaming intersection framework catching on digitally across the world, we are proud to be the go-to media brand that truly connects a community of esports, sports enthusiasts all on TechStorm’s regional network,” comments Debbie Lee, CEO & Founder of TechStorm.
