On February 16, Disney+ audiences are invited to cling to the edge of their seats as they step into the fast-paced thrilling world of the highly anticipated new Korean series Grid. Centered around a group of people hot on the trail of a mysterious figure known only as “the Ghost,” the individuals and mysterious government organizations must work together to track the figure down and uncover why, 24 years after creating the Grid system to protect the planet from devastating solar winds, “the Ghost” is now an accomplice to murder.
Featuring an all-star ensemble both on-screen and off, Grid is written by critically acclaimed screenwriter Lee Soo-Yeon (Stranger, Life), directed by Lee Khan (The Divine Move 2: The Wrathful) and Park Cheol-hwan, and stars the hugely popular Seo Kang-jun, Kim A-joong, Kim Moo-yul, Kim Sung-kyun, and Lee Si-young.
A Disney+ Original under the Star banner, Grid features Kim Sae-Ha (Seo Kang-jun), an employee of the mysterious government agency known only as “Bureau,” who has spent the past 24 years tracking the Ghost, waiting for their next appearance. Also hot on the heels of the Ghost is vigilant police detective Jung Sae-byeok (Kim A-joong) who is dragged into the pursuit after finding pertinent clues on an otherwise dead-end case. Questions and tensions abound as the pair both try to capture the Ghost, each with their own motives, but what secrets and truths will they stumble upon along the way?
Featuring breathtaking twists and turns, countless cliffhangers and an all-star cast from start to finish, Grid promises to be one of the year’s most talked-about shows and can be enjoyed exclusively on Disney+ from February 16th.
Grid is the latest series in a rapidly growing collection of exciting Korean titles to feature on Disney+ as part of its commitment to delivering quality global and local language content to audiences across the world. Fans of Korean language content can also enjoy other Disney+ APAC originals including Snowdrop starring BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Jung Hae-in, Rookie Cops starring singer Kang Daniel, as well as the soon-to-be-released Kiss Sixth Sense and Moving.
