Japanese commercial broadcaster, Kansai TV and KC Global Media Asia, the network that owns and operates the leading Japanese entertainment channel, GEM, have co-produced the new season of Budget Trip in Japan S2. The GEM Original travelogue series features Japanese celebrities taking viewers on a journey to discover the hidden gems of Japan, including travel tips and tricks to enjoying an authentic Japanese travel experience with only a budget of 50,000 yen for two! The program will premiere on GEM TV Asia from November 30, every Tuesday at 7:50 p.m. across Southeast Asia. Both seasons 1 and 2 will also be available (AVOD) on meWATCH streaming platform in Singapore.
The five-episode travelogue series features the different regions of Japan, namely Kanagawa, Osaka, Tottori, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima. Each one-hour long episode follows Japanese food influencer and resident tour guide, Fallindebu Hassy, on a fun-filled and delectable journey with one of his five new friends – Yuki Kamifuku, Wakako Hashimoto, Sumire Noda, Enis Go Okafor and Shoko Shii!
