ZEE5 Global, the largest OTT platform for South Asian content, has unveiled a refreshing content line-up for the month of July. Its content slate includes a combination of classic TV shows and brand new Originals straight from the heartlands of India, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
Internationally acclaimed director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki is all set to launch his digital directorial debut web series through the Bangladeshi Original Ladies & Gentlemen on 9th July. The universally-themed series stars Tasnia Farin, Afzal Hossain, Partha Barua, Iresh Zaker, and Maria Nur in pivotal roles.
ZEE5 Global is launching the Original movie State of Siege: Temple Attack, based on the 2002 terror attack at Akshardham temple in Gujarat, on 9th July. Veteran actor Akshaye Khanna makes his digital debut, and also plays the lead in this gripping tale of terror, chaos and suspense. The movie also features Vivek Dahiya and Gautam Rode in pivotal roles.
The streaming platform is also launching an Original social comedy movie titled 14 Phere, directed by Devanshu Singh, written by Manoj Kalwani, starring Vikrant Massey, Kriti Kharbanda, and Gauhar Khan, amongst others. Produced by ZEE Studios, the movie will be available for streaming on 23rd July.
The newly released Zindagi OriginalDhoop Ki Deewar will release two new episodes every Friday.
From ZEE TV, viewers can watch the grand finale and winner announcement in the reality show Indian Pro Music League on 17th July. From 26th July, they can also watch Balaji Telefilms’ Bhagya Lakshmi, a show about Lakshmi, a simple, loving and traditional girl who goes to great lengths for her family. A new reality show The Comedy Factory where 2 teams will face off against each other to win Comedy Ka Cup will stream from 31st July.
For the first time on ZEE Bangla, Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra will be captured LIVE from Puri and will be available to stream on 12th July. The live event will also host a Baithak with celebrity anchors and other guests. Veteran actor and MLA Debashree Roy will be making her television debut with Sarbojoya, which will be coming soon.
Telugu viewers can watch the movie Crrush, written and directed by Ravi Babu, on 9th July. The romantic comedy movie stars popular actors Charan Sai and Ankita Sahu in lead roles. Telugu TV show Swarna Palace will be available for streaming this month. ZEE5 Global will also stream the special Bonalu Event on 25th July.
For ZEE Marathi viewers, Punahashcha Hari Om, a Zee Talkies Original movie, starring popular Marathi actor Spruha Joshi in the lead role will premiere on 11th July.
Malayalam viewers can watch Chathur Mukham, a thriller movie directed by Ranjeet Kamala Sankar and starring Manju Warrier, Sunny Wayne, and Nirajana Anoop on 9th July.
