FOX Movies announced that it is joining hands with Sony Pictures Television to bring 37 movies to the linear tv platform. Most titles will appear first and exclusive, ranging from action-packed movies to family favourites.
Viewers can catch some of the latest mega-hits (Bad Boys For Life), action thrillers (Miss Bala), horror-flicks (Blumhouse’s Fantasy Island, Brightburn), and critically-acclaimed dramas (Little Women, Run This Town) on the TV channel. Additionally, other highly anticipated movies including Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Morbius, Connected, Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, Cinderella (2021) will also be coming to the FOX Movies channel in 2021, after their theatrical debut.
Here are some of the current and upcoming blockbusters to look out for:
· Bad Boys for Life, the third installment in the Bad Boys trilogy, features the two famous bad boys back together for one last ride
· Brightburn, a subversive take on a radical new genre – superhero horror
· Cinderella (2021), the famous classic fairytale with a musical twist
· Connected, a heartwarming animation about an everyday family’s struggle to bond in an increasingly digitally connected world
· Blumhouse’s Fantasy Island, a luxurious but remote tropical island turns fantasies into nightmares
· Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the next chapter in the original Ghostbuster universe
· Little Women, a six-time Academy Awards nominated film following the lives of the March sisters entering the threshold of womanhood
· Miss Bala, follows a woman drawn into a dangerous world of cross-border crime
· Morbius, a much-anticipated movie about the blood-craving antihero, based on the famous Marvel comics
· Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, the upcoming sequel follows the new adventures of everyone’s favourite bunny
· Run This Town, a film centering on the true story of the downfall of a Toronto mayor
