HJ Holdings, Inc. which operates Hulu in Japan, added TV5Monde Pacifique on Hulu’s live TV starting on Friday, 21 August.
The General entertainment channel will bring a wide variety of French programmes to Hulu’s lineup, including drama, documentaries, lifestyle magazines, kids programmes, and live sport events.
The launch on Hulu coincides with the debut of the 2020/21 season of French Ligue 1 Uber Eats on TV5Monde Pacifique with the first live game aired on the channel on the 22nd of August, with reruns on the 23rd of August.
On top of its rich contents with live streaming channels, Hulu’s online video streaming service offers more than 60,000 films, dramas, cartoons and entertainment, available anytime, anywhere. From Hulu Premiere to Hulu Original, as well as catch-up of popular programmes currently broadcasted on TV and live music shows, Hulu offers a wide variety of contents with a diverse lineup exclusive with its service.
TV5Monde Pacifique will be available to Hulu’s multi-device system including TV, smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
TV5Monde Pacifique is also available in Japan on J:Com, Hikari TV, and other cable operators including Tokyo Cable Television and Akita Cable Television.
