First Media, the leading TV Cable & Fixed Broadband Cable Internet provider in Indonesia operated by PT Link Net Tbk (LINK), and CJ ENM, Asia’s leading entertainment and merchandising company, have signed a partnership agreement to launch tvN Movies, allowing First Media viewers in Indonesia access to Korean blockbusters from all-time favorites to box office hits featuring the biggest Korean stars. tvN Movies will be available at #343 channel for free preview to all First Media’s Home Cable and FirstMediaX subscribers.
tvN Movies, the Home of Korean Blockbusters, is owned by CJ ENM and is the world’s first and only Korean blockbuster movie channel. With tvN Movies coming on board, First Media viewers can enjoy hottest Korean movies at launch including Rampant (featuring Hyun Bin, Jang Dong-Gun), Ordinary People (featuring Ma Dong-Seok, Kim Sae-Ron, Lee Sang-Yeob), Hit-and-Run Squad(featuring Gong Hyo-Jin, Jo Jung-Suk, Ryu Jun-Yeol), Money (featuring Ryu Jun-Yeol, Yoo Ji-Tae, Jo Woo-Jin), The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil (featuring Ma Dong-Seok, Kim Moo-Yul, Kim Sung-Kyu) and Be With You (featuring Son Ye-Jin, So Ji-Sub). tvN Movies is also proud to be the Media Partner of Korea Indonesia Film Festival (KIFF) organised by the Korean Cultural Center Indonesia (KCCI), to demonstrate its endless effort in introducing Korean movies into Southeast Asia markets. KIFF aims at showing Korean social life, culture through movies, and facilitating mutual understanding on the Korean and Indonesian cultures. This year, KIFF will be held in CGV cinemas Indonesia from 9-13 October as part of the annual Korea Festival held by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Indonesia.
