BBC Lifestyle in Asia has had a makeover with a new, contemporary on-air look. A new colour palette and modern-looking graphics complement the channel’s aspirational and entertaining programming. BBC Studios Asia announced the changes alongside a stellar line-up of programmes for BBC Lifestyle featuring fresh shows and returning favourites to take viewers into the new year.
The new look launched in conjunction with the new series of Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back, where British chef Gordon Ramsay has just 24 hours to try and bring struggling restaurants back from the brink of disaster. Other returning favourites include The Great British Bake Off, Shop Well For Less, and Grand Designs: House of the Year while new shows include Rachel Khoo: My Swedish Kitchen, exploring the incredible food culture of Sweden.

Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back, Series 2 (11 November 2019, 11.05pm)
In this new series, Emmy-nominated host and chef Gordon Ramsay travels to struggling restaurants in his state-of-the-art mobile kitchen and command centre, Hell on Wheels. He goes undercover to see their problems first-hand and tries to bring them back from the brink of disaster – all in just 24 hours.
Shop Well For Less, Series 3 (29 November 2019, 9.15pm)

The Great British Bake Off, Series 10 (7 & 8 December 2019, 11.05am)
The two-time BAFTA award-winning show is back with a fresh batch of amateur bakers aiming to prove their prowess in the iconic Bake Off tent. Judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith return, setting brand new challenges to test the participants’ skills, expertise and flair.
Rachel Khoo: My Swedish Kitchen (7 January 2020, 7.30pm)
Popular chef Rachel Khoo is back with, sharing her unique modern take on the fresh and flavoursome food of Sweden. With Rachel’s witty anecdotes and observations, a focus on rarely-covered Swedish cuisine and a large sprinkle of nature and outdoor activities, this distinctive new cookery show has every ingredient viewers need.
Bake Off – The Professionals, Series Two (11 & 12 January 2020, 11.05am)
The toughest Bake Off of them all is back again. Twelve teams from across Britain compete to craft exquisite entremets, delicious desserts and spectacular showpieces, all in a bid to impress world-renowned judges Benoit Blin and Cherish Finden, and be crowned the winner.
Grand Designs: House of the Year, Series Four (24-27 January 2020, 7.25pm)
Every year, the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) holds a competition to find the best new home in Britain. Presented by Kevin McCloud, it explores some of Britain’s most contemporary and cutting edge homes, all of them in the running for the prestigious RIBA House of the Year Award.
