Fremantle announced two new hires within its International distribution team. Joining the Non-Scripted content team is the new Vice President of Non-Scripted Content Acquisitions, Harry Gamsu, and Senior Acquisitions Manager, Céire Clark. Both positions will report to Angela Neillis, Senior Vice President of Non-Scripted Content for Fremantle’s distribution business.
In his new role, Gamsu will be based in Los Angeles and manage the US based Content Acquisitions team. He will be responsible for sourcing new content from across the US and Canada for development and international distribution. Working with a mix of third party and Fremantle’s in-house producers, Gamsu will explore and negotiate rights for distribution opportunities.
Prior to joining Fremantle, Gamsu held the position of VP of Non-Scripted at Red Arrow Studios International and previously held international distribution and acquisition roles at Warner Bros. International Television Production and Outright Distribution.
Clark will be based at Fremantle’s London HQ. In her role on the Global Content team, she will work with Fremantle’s own creatives and develop further relationships with key independent producers. As well as developing commercial strategies for content, Clark will source new content and work with producers to help them to retain IP and develop international commercial potential.
Before arriving at Fremantle, Clark worked at all3media international where she managed non-scripted acquisitions from all3media’s group of 28 production companies across the globe. Prior to that, she was part of the Acquisitions and Programming team at National Geographic Television International.
Fremantle holds relationships with a list of impressive non-scripted talent and producers including Jamie Oliver, Nigella Lawson & BBC Studios, Naked, True to Nature, Label 1, Spring Films, Wild Blue Media, Original Productions, Herzog & Company, Lightbox, Playtone, Atlantic Productions, Network Entertainment, Spyglass Media and Associated Producers.
