SEOUL, KOREA – CJ E&M’s new compelling legal thriller featuring over-the-top fight scenes, Lawless Lawyer, has kicked-off with promising results.

 

The show’s second episode ranked number one in highest ratings within all cable programs in the same timeslot with peak viewership rate of 6.9%, and also achieved strong viewership among tvN’s key target demographic of ages 20 to 49.

 

Lawless Lawyer features Lee Joon-gi, as a former gangster that becomes a lawyer to fulfill his life mission to avenge his mother’s death, and Seo Ye-ji, as an idealistic lawyer who fights for justice only to end up getting suspended for attacking a judge. The story follows the two as they team up to fight the corrupt in powerful positions, including businessmen, judges, politicians, etc.
