LILLE, FRANCE – That of the 16 projects selected and pitched for this year’s Co-Pro Pitching Sessions, part of the European Project and Talent Forum, the industry arm of the Series Mania Festival, the five-member jury team selected the Swedish submission of the drama/comedy series We Got This! as winner of the Series Mania Project Award.

 

The jury, along with Riandee, included Piv Bernth, CEO, Apple Tree Productions; Damien Couvreur, Creative Executive, International Originals, Netflix; Nacho Manubens, Director of Content, Atresmedia Studios; and Anne Mensah, Head of Drama, Sky UK. Together they had the honor of presenting Schiaffino Musarra from Jarowskij with a check for €50,000 to help finance the development for We Got This!

Faced with his own ignorance, as well as shadowy network determined to derail his efforts, an American immigrant living in Stockholm becomes obsessed with a $50 million Swedish Crown reward for solving the seemingly unsolvable assassination of Olof Palme, Sweden’s former prime minister.
