SINGAPORE – NBCUniversal International Networks (NBCUIN) announced the launch of Studio Universal, its new streaming on-demand service on StarHub’s platform, StarHub Go.
Studio Universal is NBCUIN’s branded SVOD destination that brings popular U.S. scripted entertainment together, in one place. Offering a curated selection of drama and comedy series, the service provides users with access to the characters they know and love – anytime and anywhere they are.
With the launch on StarHub Go, viewers in Singapore will have on-demand access to Studio Universal’s wide variety of acclaimed U.S. drama series, for the first time. As the home of Dick Wolf’s Chicago franchise, viewers will be able to access series such as – Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Chicago Med and Chicago Justice – that focus on the professional and private lives of the firefighters, police officers, emergency medical personnel, and legal professionals who serve the city of Chicago. The latest seasons of Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. will be accessible ‘express from the U.S.’, while Chicago Med and Chicago Justice will join the service later this year.
In addition to the complete seasons of Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. on StarHub Go, the first season of the supernatural drama television series Midnight, Texas will be available on Studio Universal.
Additional series such as Chicago Med and Chicago Justice, The Family Law, The Mindy Project and the critically acclaimed and Golden Globe® Award-winning drama Mr. Robot will join later in the year.
