LOS ANGELES – GRB Entertainment announced two new additions to its Senior Executives roster. Industry marketing veteran Vanessa McCullers, former Director of Brand Partnerships at Endemol Shine North America, has been hired as VP of Brand Partnerships. While Chris Powers, former Development Executive and Head of Current Programming at Jukin Media, joins the team as VP of Digital Development.
In her new role, McCullers will lead GRB’s brand partnerships division and target brands looking to reach a larger demographic pool through both linear and non-linear organic integration. In prior roles, she has driven multi-platform brand partnerships strategies and has developed on-air creative and custom digital content that allowed audiences to engage with show content in unique and exclusive ways.
Powers, who developed and produced multiple digital series with Jukin for Facebook, go90, Comcast and LOL will lead GRB’s digital strategy focusing on original programming for digital platforms as well as new revenue streams leveraging GRB’s 4,000 hour library and international distribution arm.
“These key roles aim to expand our scope of storytelling and embrace the industry’s desire to connect consumers directly with authentic narratives across multiple platforms.” says GRB’s COO Marielle Zuccarelli, to whom both McCullers and Powers will report. Zuccarelli also recently inked a producing partnership with DEFY Media, another big change for GRB that will be sure to make waves in the Branded and Digital arena.
