SEOUL, KOREA – Premiered on March 21, tvN’s new drama series My Mister is a story of three middle-age brothers and a strong, but cold-hearted young lady, looking out for each other to overcome their own struggles in life.
Following the recent CANNSERIES Award-nominated Mother, the successor lineup is expected to become CJ E&M spring season’s most anticipated TV drama.
Marking the highest viewership rate among all pay TV and IPTV channels in Korea during the same time slot, its first few episodes have featured K-Pop sweetheart IU(Lee Ji-eun) who has been transformed into the dark and cynical female lead. She barely manages to live with her sick grandmother, and is often threaten by a loan shark. Working as a temporary bookkeeper during the day and a part-time kitchen staff at night, she encounters these three “misters” including her co-worker who becomes a big part of her life.
Produced by famous director Kim Won-suk (Signal) and writer Park Hae-young (Another Oh Hae Young), My Mister airs on CJ E&M’s flagship channel tvN every Wednesday and Thursday 21:30(K.S.T.)
