The Australian web series The Wild Orchards has been nominated for an impressive nine awards at the 2018 Los Angeles Web Series Festival (LAWEBFEST). The LAWEBFEST which will be held at Sony Pictures Entertainment over the weekend of Friday 27 to Sunday 29 April 2018 is the oldest, largest, most popular and influential web series festival in the world.
The Wild Orchards is a 3x 5 minute web series that was originally written by the Producer, Tsu Shan Chambers, as a proof of concept for a longer form contemporary action series currently under development. Directed by Australian South East Asian Writer/Director, Uma Kali Shakti, The Wild Orchards, was shot at the Chinese Garden of Friendship in Darling Harbour at the end of 2016. Starring Marcus Rivera (Miss Saigon, The King and I) and actor/producer, Tsu Shan Chambers (Irreversible Choices), The Wild Orchards has been nominated in the following categories:

The Wild Orchards Synopsis:
Watch to see whose trust truly runs the deepest amidst the temptations of lust, power and ambition to rule The Wild Orchards. The Governor and Lady Bo Luo are in the midst of protecting their homeland from hostile neighboring provinces. However, their biggest battles of all seem to come from within their tranquil walls. Loyalties, honour and courage are tested, not just in those closest to them, but between the rulers themselves. With seemingly no end to the brutality and betrayals, a cryptic plot of destruction ensues between the rulers and their foes.
