Beach TV and Indonesian production house Nation Pictures will be signing a $12-million agreement for the production of Beach Brawl, a brand new sports reality format based on one of the fastest growing sport in the world, Mixed Martial Arts (“MMA”).

Beach Brawl, aspiring fighters from different parts of the world will be brought to a beachfront bootcamp, where they are put through the most punishing regimen, to be trained into the most fearsome fighters. The fighters undergovarious challenges and matches to test their skills and courage. The losers get eliminated in each episode, until one fighter emerges as Champion of Beach Brawl.

The 3-year deal, worth about USD 12 million will see six seasons filmed in the tropical paradise Bali. The intellectual property is developed in Singapore and has already garnered the interest of broadcasters in several countries.
