Singapore – Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Networks, Asia’s North Asian entertainment channels continue to lead the charge this month with two simulcast blockbuster premieres fresh from Japan and Korea. GEM, SPT Networks’ joint venture channel with leading Japanese broadcaster Nippon TV, will premiere a two-hour feature episode of Pretty Proofreader Deluxe while ONE, the top rated Korean entertainment channel, will unleash the highly anticipated While You Were Sleeping, same time as Korea.

Pretty Proofreader Deluxe, a 2-hour special episode from the original drama series Pretty Proofreader will see the return of well-loved Japanese actress Satomi Ishihara reprising her role as Etsuko in this ultimate workplace entertainment drama series.
Based on the novel “Koetsu Girl” by Ayako Miyagi, Pretty Proofreader follows the life of the ultimate fashionista, Etsuko Kono who lands a proofreading job instead of her dream job as an editor. In Pretty Proofreader Deluxe, Etsuko finally secures a job in the editing department but when a new chief editor shows up and starts firing people, how will Etsuko’s career survive?
From the director of Doctors and My Love from the Star, and the writer of Pinocchio and I Can Hear Your Voice, While You Were Sleeping stars a stellar cast of Lee Jong Suk and Bae Suzy. This is the third collaboration between Lee Jong Suk and writer Park Hye Ryun. Their previous series together, Pinocchio and I Can Hear Your Voice were extremely popular with ONE’s viewers.
While You Were Sleeping is an investigation drama with a twist, it tells the story of an unemployed journalist, Hong Ju (Bae Suzy), who can foresee unfortunate events in her sleep. Hoping to prevent these nightmares from becoming a reality, prosecutor Jae Chan (Lee Jong Suk) works with her to stop the ill-fated events from occurring.
