Los Angeles– Yan-Jong Wong has been appointed to Sales Director, Asia, as announced by Richard Samuels, Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific and Managing Director, Sydney, Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution. Her primary responsibilities will be to license TCFTVD content across Pay, SVOD, AVOD, Basic and Free TV, as well as Scripted Format sales throughout many of the region’s markets including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Brunei, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos.
Wong will be based out of the company’s newly established Singapore office and will report to Brendan Zauner, Senior Vice President, Asia, and Television Distribution.

Prior to joining Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, Wong was Vice President of English Content Channels at Sony Pictures Entertainment Networks, Asia where she was in the senior management team and provided the overall and strategic leadership for the English content channels – AXN and Sony Channel. She began at Sony in 2000 as Director of Acquisitions and Scheduling, AXN before becoming Executive Director, AXN and later rising to the aforementioned title of Vice President. Earlier in her career, Wong served as Senior Programming Manager at Discovery Networks, Asia and was the Head of Acquisitions for Channel 5 at the Television Corporation of Singapore.
