Starting from the 2017/2018 season, KHL matches featuring Jokerit, along with selected high-profile games from across the competition, will be shown live on MTG’s Viasat Hockey channel (in Finland, Norway and Sweden) and Viaplay streaming service (in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden).
Considered Europe and Asia’s leading ice hockey league, the KHL is contested by 27 teams from Russia, Belarus, China, Finland, Kazakhstan, Latvia and Slovakia. Jokerit have played in the KHL since 2014 and have reached at least the conference quarter-finals every year.
The new KHL season starts on 21 August, when reigning champions SKA Saint Petersburg meet traditional powerhouse CSKA Moscow.
