Singapore – Singtel won three Gold awards at the fourth Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards which recognises business innovation across 22 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. Singtel emerged the winner in the Innovation in Paid Media Planning and Management, Social Media Marketing, and Annual Report categories. The judges lauded Singtel’s digital marketing arm, Amobee, for Innovation in Paid Media Planning and Management with its Amobee Brand Intelligence platform.
Amobee Brand Intelligence analyses over 60 billion consumer digital engagements daily across the web, social, mobile and video. It enables marketers to optimise media strategies across channels and devices in real time to increase brand awareness and engagement rates by providing them insights into their target audience. Amobee was also recognised in the Innovation in Social Media Marketing category for its work with Airbnb for the “Personal” campaign, which was part of Airbnb’s “Live There” global digital advertising initiative. Delivered across six countries (Australia, Germany, India, South Korea, UK & US), and five channels (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Video) to drive awareness, consumer engagement and site traffic, the campaign reached over 101 million users with an average video view-through rate of 10%.
“This recognition is a testament to Amobee’s innovative technology and industry leadership in leveraging real-time data insights to help brands and agencies make informed decisions when executing their digital and social strategies,” said Ms Kim Perell, CEO, Amobee. Amobee, the largest of Singtel’s digital businesses, is one of the largest independent buy-side marketing technology providers globally. Under the Innovation in Annual Report category, Singtel won for the design and concept of its annual report with the theme ‘Transforming With You’. Ms Lian Pek, Singtel’s Vice President, Group Strategic Communications and Brand, said, “It’s not every day that an annual report gets people to sit up and take notice so we are very encouraged to be recognised for our efforts.
We were driven to further enhance our annual reporting because we know our stakeholders are increasingly interested in not just our financial performance but our social performance. This is why we tried to provide a more holistic view of how Singtel creates value for our customers, shareholders, employees and the communities in which we operate. This also serves to better capture and represent the company’s vision.” Singtel’s annual report captures the Group’s transformation from a traditional telco to a communications company in response to the evolving needs of consumers and businesses in the digital economy.
