Two Globo productions were featured in the Social Wit List in May, among the Latin American productions most commented in social media. The talk show Conversa com Bial (Talk with Bial), which premiered in Brazil on May 2, got audiences talking online and ranked 4th in the list, reaching a total of 7,000 comments. The talk show was followed by the Quem Quer ser um Milionário (Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?) skit made famous in over 100 countries, which premiered in the weekly show ‘Caldeirão do Huck’, amassing a total of 6,000 comments online.
Conversa com Bial is the newest addition to Globo’s late night slot in Brazil. Hosted by famous journalist Pedro Bial, the show features a broad range of dynamic conversations and debates on current events with top personalities and influencers. The show addresses relevant subjects to be discussed at work, on the bus, at school and even at home.
On the other side, we have the internationally successful Quem Quer ser um Milionário (Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?) skit, which airs on Saturdays on the weekly show ‘Caldeirão do Huck’ and gives people from all over Brazil the opportunity to participate in a thrilling competition and a chance to become millionaires.
Produced by Swiss company The Wit, the Social Wit List ranks the top ten most commented Latin American and worldwide productions in social media during their month of debut. Other Globo’s productions also ranked well in these lists, including the series ‘Above Justice’ and telenovelas ‘Rising Sun’, ‘Burning Hearts’ and ‘Total Dreamer’, which were all highlights of Globo’s 2017 international catalogue.
