The plot follows Eliza as she overcomes her limitations. Seeking a better life in the big city, the young woman moves to Rio de Janeiro, where she becomes homeless. With a very strong will, this modern-day Cinderella gets a chance to turn her life around by joining a contest that will choose the new Total Dreamer Girl. But to become a successful model, her path will be far more winding than expected, including facing several scams and also deciding who her true love is.
The telenovela will air on Costa Rica shortly after Passione, another Globo blockbuster, which Teletica airs on the 10 a.m. time slot. Partners for years, Teletica has already aired other productions from the Brazilian company, such as, Side by Side , Boogie Oogie and The Life We Lead.
