Los Angeles and London – Keshet International (KI), the global production and distribution powerhouse behind many high profile, award-winning and critically acclaimed series, has expanded its digital team with the appointments of Pasa Mustafa as creative director, digital, based in London, and Heather Brewster, who joins Keshet’s LA office as VP Development, Digital.
The pair will report to Sebastian Burkhardt, SVP Digital and Acquisitions for KI, who leads the company’s digital content initiatives as well as the recently formed Keshet Digital Studios (KDS), an international studio dedicated to premium digital-first and millennial-themed projects. Together, they will focus on content for millennials that bridges the gap between KI’s existing branches, emerging technology and the digital space.
Among a strong slate of KDS projects iA former global head of digital originals for Endemol, Mustafa moves into the new position from his role as a KI digital creative consultant. An award-winning developer, he has more than 20 years of experience and credits including the mobile reality show Get Close to the Sugarbabes for Nokia on O2; the Samsung-funded music show Beat on Bebo; sci-fi dystopian drama Kirill for MSN and Xbox; and Gap Year, the world’s first global reality show funded by 14 different brands, including Sony, Johnson & Johnson and Cadburys.
Brewster also brings years of experience to KDS’ Los Angeles office, having most recently served as VP, digital originals at Smokebomb and Shaftesbury Entertainment. Previously, she was a founding content executive for Fullscreen’s SVOD service, spearheading original programming and overseeing series including Electra Woman and Dyna Girl and Filthy Preppy Teens, along with producing Fullscreen’s first feature film,#O2LForever. Earlier, as director of development & production at Dolphin Entertainment, Brewster oversaw two seasons of Family Channel’s What’s Up, Warthogs!, a Canadian Screen Award-nominee for Best Youth Series. Her digital-first projects garnered Streamy, WGA and NATPE award nominations.
