London, UK – Antenna Pictures, a UK-based production studio and division of Blue Ant Media, announced the appointment of Oliver Good to Head of Development and Isabelle Pavitt to Head of Production. Operating out of Antenna’s London office, Good is tasked with developing Antenna’s fast-growing slate of original content, while Pavitt will ensure the smooth-running and coordination of the studio’s shows in production.
Coinciding with this news is the recent greenlight of Antenna Pictures’ first original documentary, Just Not My Type for UK broadcaster, Channel 4 Education. In this powerful film, social historian and broadcaster Emma Dabiri explores the surprising and revealing world of modern dating in Britain and asks if young Britons are unwittingly more racist than ever before.
Good arrives at Antenna Pictures after working at NERD TV for three years, operating between the company’s offices in California, New York and London. At NERD TV, he developed everything from feature documentaries to factual entertainment series. Good has also worked on the occasional commissioned project, most recently producing NERD’s rhino poaching series Animal Mafia for Fusion.
Before joining Antenna Pictures, Pavitt was Head of Production at Lambent Productions, where she guided productions across Lambent’s diverse output. While managing an extensive range of award-winning programming, including Dead Behind Bars (BBC1), Pet Hoarders (Channel 5) and The Camera that Changed the World (BBC 4), Pavitt was also in charge of taking care of distribution, finances as well as overseeing business and legal affairs.
