Seoul, Korea – Asia’s leading content and media company CJ E&M says that its top rated TV dramas Signal, Voice and Tunnel show the international sales success of Korean crime TV series. Recent format sales include Signal to All Media in Russia, French-speaking countries started airing Voice on television last March, and newly premiered thriller drama Tunnel is available on streaming sites like DramaFever and Viki , VIU and iQiyi.
2016 mega hit cable drama Signal optioned to a Russian film and TV content distribution company All media in June, 2016. Script for Russian remake has been under development. CJ E&M’s first foray into format market in Russia the series revolves around signals from a mysterious old walkie-talkie found by a criminal profiler who communicates with a detective from the past to solve cold cases.
Known for breaking ratings history for Korean cable channel, thriller drama Voice has been broadcast on pay TV and VOD platforms in French-speaking countries including Europe and Africa since March, 2017. Starring an elite policewoman who is also a criminal profiler with extremely sensitive hearing, the drama features several murder cases and the special police squad.
Drawing 50 percent of its target audience in Korea, recent ratings hit Tunnel proves the most popular drama among viewers between the ages of 25 and 49. Currently, it is available to watch online in North America and South East Asia through streaming sites including DramaFever and Viki, VIU and iQiyi . Premiered on March 25, the drama depicts the story of a detective who time travels to the past in hope of saving his daughter. Tunnel airs every Saturday and Sunday on channel OCN.
