Jerusalem –The Founding Chairman of China’s leading media and entertainment investment and operating platforms CMC Capital Partners and CMC Holdings (now collectively known as “CMC” and previously known as “China Media Capital”), Mr. Li Ruigang, has joined the lineup of esteemed speakers at the fourth edition of The Innovative TV Conference (INTV ’17) 6-7 March in the ancient city of Jerusalem.
In his keynote address, Mr. Li will discuss how China has accelerated the worldwide media revolution through its international entertainment industry investments and operations, imparting the vision behind the company’s diverse portfolio, which includes Star China, IMAX China, Oriental DreamWorks, TVB, Shaw Brothers, City Football Group, Formula E, Jaunt, NextVR, Legoland Park (China), Flagship Entertainment, Base FX, Imagine Entertainment, Daylight Entertainment, IPCN, Shanghai Dream Center, Whaley Technology, Bilibili, GIPHY, Kuaishou, Pear Video, China Sports Media, SECA, Caixin Media, Eleme, etc.
Mr. Li has more than 20 years’ operational and investment experience in media and entertainment, and is also a Non-Executive Director of WPP, Vice chairman of TVB, Chairman of Shaw Brothers, a member of the Chinese Football Association Executive Committee, a board member of Special Olympics and was Chief of Staff of the Shanghai Municipal Government. Mr. Li was the Chairman and President of Shanghai Media Group (SMG) for more than ten years and transformed SMG from a provincial broadcaster to China’s leading media conglomerate.
Mr. Li joins a range of high level executive speakers taking part in sessions which capture the zeitgeist of the industry today and beyond.
