Keshet International (KI) and Telefe Argentina are set to promote their new prime-time musical reality competition show, Heart Beats, to the global market at NATPE 2017. From the partners that adapted the trailblazing interactive talent show Rising Star and the explosive game show BOOM! in Argentina, KI and Telefe’s Heart Beats seeks to pair aspiring singers into music’s next power couple.
Through a dedicated app, viewers will vote on live performances in real time as well as re-shuffling the contestants into brand new musical and romantic couples each week. Viewers can also increase their involvement with the show through instant messaging, photo and video sharing, as well as entering competitions to win prizes in each episode of the series. Set to premiere soon on Telefe in daily pre-recorded episodes capped by 20 live weekly galas, the format is the result of the two companies’ co-development deal struck in 2015.
Heart Beats heads a diverse slate of KI formats and finished programming which includes the premium finished Indian version of KI drama Prisoners of War, the adventure reality format Welcome to the Wild, innovative and relatable mediation format Boxed, shopping game show Check Out, and hidden camera game show Deal With It Spain, among many others
