Prague, Czech Republic – nangu.TV, the pioneering media platform provider for interactive TV services, has announced the appointment of Zdeněk Gerlický as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Joining nangu.TV in 2007, Gerlický has held the position of CTO for the past four years, implementing a number of highly successful projects around Europe.
Under his new leadership, nangu.TV will continue to be a leading influencer in today’s television transformation, paving the way to provide additional services that enable viewers to control their television experience. This will include further development of the successful nangu.TV platform, which provides advanced, seamless delivery of the latest IPTV/OTT services and an ever-increasing personalisation of the viewing experience. Gerlický will also focus on consolidation of the company’s dominant position in the Czech and Slovak markets as well as success in other markets.
Michal Kožíšek, who temporarily held the position of CEO, will move to the company’s Supervisory Board. nangu.TV has been highly successful in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Poland, France, Ukraine and Serbia.
