Endemol Shine International the distribution arm of Global content creator, producer and distributor Endemol Shine Group, today announced they had secured a first-look distribution deal for scripted television production with Strong Films, the production company formed in 2014 by multi award-winning director James Strong.
The deal will see Endemol Shine International provide development funding in return for exclusive first-look distribution rights on Strong Films output.
Strong Films was formed in 2014 to produce James Strong’s commercials and pop promotion work, and to develop drama and feature ideas. Their first project was the feature documentary Penthouse & Pavement (The Heaven 17 story) for BBC Two. Strong Films has produced a raft of commercials and corporate films, their clients including Raffles Hotels, The Carbon Trust and The Royal Academy of Arts. They also co-developed the BBC feature film United and the ITV drama Code of a Killer both produced by World Productions. They currently have a slate of film and television projects in development.
