Keshet International (KI) has announced the license of The A Word to the leading Greek broadcaster, Alpha TV. Titled Η λέξη που δεν λες (The Word You Don’t Say), the local version of the premium drama will be produced by Indigo View. It has been written by Katerina Giannakou (Koukles) and directed by the award-winning Theo Papadoulakis.
The thirteen-part series tells the story of an extended family and features a cast of leading local talent. At the heart of the family are Ayelet, played by Maria Protopappa (The Island) and Yaniv, played by Vasilis Bisbikis (The City of Children) both of whom are parents to young Omri, who has been newly diagnosed with autism, played by Giorgos Stentoumis and teenager Nati, played by Pinelopi Tsilika (Little England).
