Stand Up For Your Country, a global entertainment fromat by Televisa and La Competencia, debuted in Holland, with a special show under the name Jij en IK, being one of the most viewed programmes on the NPO 1 channel along with the EO (Evangelische Omroep). Produced with ICP (I Care Producties), it offered a night full of surprises, including performances from two of the biggest international music stars of the moment: Esmee Denters and Matt Simons. This show was the first program of the entire season on Dutch TV screens.

Jij en IK recorded a share of 17% with 928,000 viewers, 25% more than the previously registered for this type of special events in Holland. As it even beat the programme aired in the same time slot in previous weeks by 3.7 points, Jij en IK was is considered as one of the best programmes in Holland.
