London– Zodiak Rights has licensed all North and Latin American rights of the one-hour psychological thriller Wolf Creek to Lionsgate. Lionsgate has licensed the series to its Pop TV joint venture with CBS, a nationally distributed network seen in over 80 million homes. Pop will premiere Wolf Creek in the United States in October.
Based on the international hit feature film of the same name, John Jarratt reprises his role as murdering psychopath Mick Taylor, wreaking havoc in the Australian Outback, in Wolf Creek, a STAN original series. Adapted for television by Peter Gawler, Greg McLean and Felicity Packard, Wolf Creek is produced by Screentime, a Banijay Group company, in association with Emu Creek Pictures and financed with the assistance of Screen Australia and the South Australian Film Corporation.
